Quando - Sauvignon Blanc - 2012

Quando Sauvignon blanc is made from two adjacent vineyards rooted in a four meter deep rich alluvail strata exposed by a receding meander of the Breede River.These deep rich alluvial sand quarts formations have excellent water retention which is perfect for Sauvignon blanc not to go into stress and losing it’s flavours. Underneath the rich alluvail layer is loose riverbed gravel ensuring good drainage. At least 1.5 meter shoots with 40 leaves to ripen one bunch. 8 bunches per vine

TASTING NOTES:
Exotic forthcoming elderflower, passion fruit and gooseberry on the nose, following through with crisp acidity and classic flintiness. Delicious juicy green fruit on the palate rounds it off elegantly.

13 % alc; 7 g/l acidity; pH 3.1; 3.5 g/l sugar; Free Sulpur25; Total Sulphur 88
